Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You have a single breast tumor that hasn't spread to other parts of the body.
  • The cancer has not grown into the skin, chest muscle, or nipple area.
  • You are willing to have breast-conserving surgery (removing just the tumor).
  • You are healthy enough for general anesthesia and surgery.
  • You can provide tissue samples for testing during surgery.
