Gum healing gel for wisdom tooth removal recovery

Dry SocketPostoperative Infections

Part of Mouth & dental clinical trials.

This trial tests if a gel containing chlorhexidine (an antiseptic) and hyaluronic acid (a moisture-retaining substance) helps your gums heal better after having a lower wisdom tooth removed. It's for people whose wisdom tooth is only partly through the gum, so the wound can't be fully stitched closed.

  • You are not pregnant or allergic to the gel ingredients (chlorhexidine or hyaluronic acid).
  • You do not have an active infection near the wisdom tooth or poor oral hygiene.
