This study tests an experimental drug called BP1.4979 to see if it can help men with lifelong premature ejaculation (PE) last longer during sex. The trial is for men who have had PE since their first sexual experiences and who typically ejaculate within about 1 minute.

Who can take part

  • You are a man between 18 and 50 years old.
  • You have had premature ejaculation for your whole life (since your first sexual experiences).
  • You estimate that you usually ejaculate within about 1 minute of starting vaginal intercourse.
  • During a 4-week monitoring period, you must have at least 3 sexual encounters where you ejaculate in under 90 seconds (confirmed by a timer).
  • You are not taking any medications or drugs that might affect your ejaculation or that act on certain brain receptors (dopamine D3).
