Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older and scheduled for a routine colonoscopy.
  • You cannot have a history of inflammatory bowel disease (like Crohn's or ulcerative colitis).
  • You cannot have had colorectal cancer or colorectal surgery before.
  • You cannot have a history of intestinal polyposis syndromes (conditions that cause many polyps).
  • Your colonoscopy must be complete (the doctor reaches the cecum) and your bowel prep must be good.
