Comparing two toothpastes to prevent cavities in healthy adults

Who can take part

  • You have at least 10 healthy back teeth (molars and premolars) with no cavities or fillings.
  • You are willing to use an electric toothbrush and dental floss as part of the study.
  • You are okay with having dental X-rays and an oral exam with a special camera.
  • You have not had three or more cavities or fillings in the last three years.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
  • You do not have severe gum disease (pocket depth 5.5 mm or deeper on any tooth).
