- You have a kidney stone (or stones) that add up to 1.5 to 3 cm in total size.
- You are age 18 or older.
- You are scheduled to have a PCNL procedure while lying on your back (supine position).
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You have not had a PCNL on the same side before, and you have not had certain prior surgeries on your kidney, ureter, or bladder.
