Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old
  • You have one or more kidney stones totaling more than 2 cm in size, confirmed by CT imaging
  • Your kidney stone(s) can be treated with standard PCNL (a minimally invasive surgical technique)
  • You are healthy enough for general anesthesia and surgery (ASA score I–III, meaning no severe underlying medical conditions)
  • You have not had previous surgery on the same kidney
  • You do not have an active, untreated urinary tract infection
