  • You have had an ischemic stroke (stroke from a clot), not a bleed or mini-stroke.
  • Your stroke happened between 2 weeks and 3 months ago.
  • You have had fewer than 3 total strokes in your life.
  • You live in a high-altitude region and have weakness in your arm or leg.
