Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- Doctors found stones in your bile duct, and successfully removed them during a procedure called ERCP.
- You have a planned gallbladder removal surgery (cholecystectomy) scheduled within the next 3 months.
- You have not had any prior surgery on your bile ducts.
- You do not have any cancer involving the bile ducts or a bleeding condition that would make surgery unsafe.
