Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are in good general health and can have surgery with general anesthesia.
- If you can become pregnant, you must have gone through menopause (no period for 12 months or be over 60).
- You have a small breast tumor (less than 5 cm) that can be seen on an ultrasound.
- Your mammogram shows a suspicious finding (BI-RADS 4 or 5) or you have stage T1/T2 breast cancer visible on ultrasound.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and have not had chemotherapy in the last 6 months.
