Who can take part
- You can sign a consent form to join the study
- You have a cancerous breast lesion that your team plans to remove with breast-conserving surgery (not mastectomy as the first surgery)
- Your surgery plan includes imaging-guided localization to find the lesion (for example wires, ultrasound, radioactive seeds, or other tagged methods)
- You are 18 years old or older
- Your lesion type fits (DCIS or invasive cancer is allowed; multiple or both sides and neoadjuvant chemotherapy are allowed)
