Glucose monitoring for brain tumor patients

Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must be newly diagnosed with glioblastoma (a type of brain cancer) based on MRI scans.
  • You need to be generally active and able to care for yourself (score of 70 or above on a standard scale).
  • Your blood counts (white cells, platelets, hemoglobin) and liver/kidney function must be within certain limits.
  • You should be willing to wear a continuous glucose monitor and attend diet counseling sessions.
  • You cannot have had recurrent glioblastoma, type 1 diabetes, eating disorders, or substance abuse in the past year.
