Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have cataracts in both eyes that are bad enough to need surgery
  • Your cornea (the clear front of your eye) has very little astigmatism (1.00 diopter or less)
  • You have not had any prior eye surgery like LASIK or corneal transplants
  • You do not have other eye conditions like severe dry eye, glaucoma, or macular degeneration that could affect vision
  • You are willing and able to attend all study visits and follow the study plan
