Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with advanced NSCLC (stage IIIB, IIIC, or IV) that cannot be surgically removed.
- You have not yet received any treatment for this advanced stage of cancer.
- You plan to start your first treatment for this cancer soon.
- You are in generally good enough health to get out of bed and care for yourself (ECOG score of 2 or less).
- You have not had another type of cancer (other than early skin cancer or very early cervical cancer) in the last 5 years.
