Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have liver cirrhosis caused by hepatitis C (HCV), not by other causes.
  • You must have achieved a sustained virologic response (SVR12) after taking direct-acting antivirals (DAAs).
  • If you are a case patient, you must have been diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) on or before June 30, 2025, by imaging or biopsy.
  • You cannot have had HCC diagnosed less than 6 months before achieving SVR, or have a combined HCV-HBV cirrhosis, or have a bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma).
