This study is a lung health check pilot to find lung cancer early in people who are at higher risk because of their age and smoking history. You will get a free, low-dose CT scan to check for any signs of lung cancer.

Who can take part
- You are between 55 and 74 years old.
- You currently smoke or have smoked at least 100 cigarettes (about 5 packs) in your lifetime.
- Your GP has referred you to this Lung Health Check pilot.
- Your calculated lung cancer risk score is high enough (your doctor will check this).
- You have not had a chest CT scan in the last 12 months.
- You are able to lie flat for a CT scan and do not have another advanced cancer (except possibly lung cancer diagnosed more than 5 years ago).
