Ultrasound test to tell GIST from leiomyoma

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 85 years old.
  • You have a growth in your digestive tract that your doctor plans to examine with an ultrasound.
  • You have had the growth diagnosed as either a GIST or a leiomyoma through a biopsy or surgery.
  • You are not pregnant, and you do not have severe heart or lung problems.
  • You do not have a known allergy to the ultrasound contrast dye.
  • You are willing and able to give written permission to join the study.
