Numbing technique for tooth removal in children under anesthesia

Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 6 and 12 years old.
  • Your child should be generally healthy (no serious medical conditions).
  • Your child needs general anesthesia (to be put to sleep) for dental work because of many cavities, fear, or anxiety.
  • Your child must need at least one permanent back tooth (molar) removed.
  • Your child cannot have taken any painkillers in the 48 hours before the procedure.
  • You or your child must speak Dutch.
