Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You have type 2 diabetes with high blood sugar from steroids, or diabetes caused by steroids that needs insulin.
- You are on long-term oral steroids for a condition such as nephrotic syndrome, asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, or others listed.
- You do not have type 1 diabetes or a critical illness needing intensive care.
- Your kidney function (eGFR) is 30 mL/min or higher.
- You have not had acute pancreatitis or gallstone disease.
