  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 35 and 45
  • You are scheduled to have sleeve gastrectomy surgery
  • You do not have an ongoing neurological or psychiatric condition
  • You do not have chronic pain syndrome
  • You have not had open surgery in your upper belly area
