This study looks at whether two simple blood tests (D-dimer and CRP) can help predict heart problems in people on dialysis. If you join, they would check these markers in your blood and see if they relate to your heart health.

Who can take part
- Your age is 18 or older.
- You have been on regular dialysis for at least 3 months.
- You are able to give your consent to join.
- You may or may not have heart disease, but if you do, it should be confirmed by your doctor.
- You have not had an infection or used antibiotics in the last 4 weeks.
- You are not taking blood thinners (like aspirin or warfarin), do not have active cancer, autoimmune or inflammatory diseases, bleeding or clotting disorders, and are not pregnant.
