Who can take part
- You are diagnosed with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC).
- You will have surgery to remove the tumor, including a sentinel node biopsy (with or without a neck dissection) at Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm.
- You are willing to take part in the study.
- You do not have a systemic autoimmune disease (like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis).
- You do not have another current or past cancer (including blood cancers).
- You do not have any other condition that could affect the immune environment in your lymph nodes.
