Microplastics in kids with inflammatory bowel disease

Crohn DiseasePediatric Inflammatory Bowel DiseasesUlcerative Colitis (UC)Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)

Part of Digestive system clinical trials.

This study looks at whether tiny plastic particles (called microplastics) are found in the guts of children with and without inflammatory bowel disease. By analyzing samples taken during a routine endoscopy, researchers hope to learn if these particles might play a role in the disease.
