Who can take part
- You are a man between 40 and 60 years old.
- You have a body mass index (BMI) between 18.5 and 34.9, and weigh at least 55 kg.
- You have had symptoms of an enlarged prostate for at least 6 months, like feeling your bladder is not empty, needing to urinate often, or waking up several times at night.
- You have a moderate symptom score (IPSS between 8 and 19) based on a questionnaire.
- Your blood pressure is normal (below 140/90 mm Hg).
- You are in generally good health, not currently smoking, not drinking more than 2 alcoholic drinks per day, and not taking other herbal prostate medications.
