Who can take part

  • You live in a village selected for the treatment program
  • You can take one of the two study drugs (ivermectin or moxidectin) based on your age and health
  • You are not allergic to ivermectin or moxidectin
  • You are not pregnant and (if in the moxidectin group) not planning to become pregnant in the next 3 months
  • You are not currently hospitalized or too sick to get out of bed
  • You are not taking part in another clinical trial at the same time
