This trial uses a test called MiniPDX, which grows a tiny sample of your tumor in mice to see which drugs work best. After your surgery, you'll receive chemotherapy chosen specifically for your cancer to help prevent it from coming back.

Who can take part

  • You have had surgery to remove bile duct cancer, and the surgery got all of the visible cancer (R0 resection).
  • You are at least 18 years old and able to walk around and take care of yourself (ECOG 0 to 2).
  • Your major organs (heart, liver, kidneys, brain) are working well, and you do not have serious heart problems or bleeding disorders.
  • You have acceptable blood counts and liver/kidney function as shown by recent lab tests.
  • You agree to use birth control during the study and for 6 months after, if you or your partner can become pregnant.
  • You have not had chemotherapy or radiation therapy before this trial.
