Who can take part
- Your child is between 6 months and 18 years old.
- Your child has been diagnosed with failure to thrive (weight below the 5th percentile or dropping across two major growth lines, confirmed twice).
- Your child has gut symptoms like chronic vomiting, diarrhea (bloody or not), stomach pain, or bleeding from the gut.
- You (the parent) are willing to give consent for your child and for any siblings to also be in the study if asked.
- Your child does not have a known chronic disease (like a genetic, heart, kidney, or hormone condition) that already explains the poor growth.
- Your child can safely have endoscopy and anesthesia (no severe bleeding problems or unstable heart/lung conditions).
