Who can take part

  • You are willing to complete study procedures like brain scans and memory tests with a study partner's help.
  • You have early Alzheimer's disease, either mild cognitive impairment or mild dementia, confirmed by a brain scan or spinal fluid test.
  • You have a study partner who can come to visits and report on your daily life.
  • Your memory test score must be at least 22 on the MMSE (a common memory screening) and your overall function must be mildly impaired.
  • You do not have other conditions like a recent stroke, brain injury, tumor, or unstable medical illness that could affect thinking.
