Who can take part
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to give informed consent.
- You need to be seen as a patient or volunteer at Saint-Antoine Hospital’s gastroenterology department.
- If you have Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, your diagnosis must be confirmed at Saint-Antoine Hospital.
- For IBD patients: you cannot have had a colonoscopy prep in the 6 weeks before providing a stool sample (or you must wait 6 weeks after).
- For healthy volunteers: you cannot have a chronic disease or have taken antibiotics in the past 6 weeks.
