This study looks at proteins in your tears to better understand and treat dry eye disease. You may qualify if you have dry eye symptoms and certain test results show your eyes are not functioning normally.

Who can take part
- You need a dry eye symptom score of 13 or higher on the OSDI questionnaire.
- You must fail at least one of these tests: tear break-up time less than 10 seconds, tear saltiness above a certain level, or staining of your eye surface.
- You cannot have an active eye infection, inflammation, or eyelid problem.
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You should not have uncontrolled new diseases or changed long-term medications in the last 6 months.
- You cannot have active implanted devices like pacemakers or hearing aids.
