Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 75 years old.
- You must be in good health or have only mild health issues (ASA I or II).
- You must have followed the standard fasting guidelines before surgery (no food or drink for a set time).
- Your airway must be normal, with no known problems like blockages or narrowing.
- You cannot have conditions that increase risk of stomach contents entering the lungs, or disorders of the stomach or intestines.
- You cannot have any abnormalities in your throat or voice box area.
- You cannot have a predicted difficult airway (for example, a BMI over 30, limited mouth opening, or restricted neck movement).
- You must be willing to sign a consent form to participate.
