Who can take part
- You have or had a type of throat cancer called squamous cell carcinoma of the oropharynx that is HPV-positive.
- You have completed your initial treatment (surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy) at least 1 month ago.
- A blood test shows you have detectable levels of HPV DNA from your tumor, which means some cancer cells may still be present but not visible on scans.
- You are 18 years or older and in generally good health (able to perform daily activities without major limitations).
- You are willing to have a biopsy or provide a tissue sample to check for a protein called PD-L1.
- You do not have other active cancers or serious medical conditions that could interfere with the study.
