Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older and have been told by a doctor you have ADHD or autism.
  • You can see, hear, and read well enough to do computer tasks.
  • You don't take antidepressants, antipsychotics, or other meds that might affect your thinking (stimulants are okay).
  • You have never had a bad reaction to caffeine or similar substances.
  • You can avoid caffeine and the test substances for 24 hours before each visit.
  • You are willing to avoid smoking, alcohol, and drugs during the study.
