Who can take part

  • You are having a procedure to open a blocked heart artery (stent placement).
  • Your blockage is long (over 38 mm), is at a branch point, or is in the main left artery.
  • You are willing to be in one of three groups based on whether imaging is used or not.
  • You must be able to sign a consent form.
