Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older (or 16 or older if you have Ewing sarcoma or a similar cancer).
  • You must have a solid tumor that has spread or cannot be removed with surgery.
  • Your tumor must be measurable on scans or show signs of disease.
  • You must be able to care for yourself and be up and about more than half of the day (ECOG score 0-2).
  • Your organs must be working well enough, as determined by standard blood and urine tests.
  • You cannot have had chemotherapy, radiation, or other cancer treatments within the last 2 weeks (or longer for some drugs).
