Who can take part
- You are between 10 and 70 years old.
- You have a chest mass (tumor) in the front part of the chest that is at least 7 cm across on scans.
- A biopsy during surgery must show that the mass is a teratoma (a type of tumor that can contain different tissues like hair, muscle, or bone).
- Your heart and lungs are strong enough for surgery where one lung is collapsed.
- You have no major blood vessel or heart lining involvement, and no history of chest surgery or radiation.
