Hydatidiform Mole

This study looks at people diagnosed with a hydatidiform mole (a rare pregnancy-related tumor) to understand how it progresses. It follows your health after the mole is removed and checks your hCG levels (a pregnancy hormone) to see if you develop a related condition called post-molar gestational trophoblastic neoplasia.

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with a hydatidiform mole (confirmed by a doctor or tissue test).
  • Your complete medical records are available, including lab and pathology reports.
  • There is no sign that the mole has grown into the muscle of the uterus or spread to other parts of the body.
  • Your hCG levels returned to normal after the mole was removed and you were followed for at least 6 months, or you were diagnosed with postmolar gestational trophoblastic neoplasia during follow-up.
  • You do not have a history of serious mental illness, infectious diseases, or immune system disorders (like lupus, myasthenia gravis, or HIV).
  • You are willing to join the study and sign a consent form.
