Who can take part

  • You must be between 22 and 55 years old.
  • You must have significant anxiety that causes you to avoid situations at least occasionally.
  • Anxiety must be causing at least moderate problems in one area of your daily life, like work or social activities.
  • You must be comfortable with English and able to give consent.
  • You cannot have a history of serious brain injury, neurological disorder, or conditions like psychosis or bipolar disorder.
  • You must not have recently changed psychiatric medications or therapy (in the last 3 months) and must be safe for an MRI scan.
