Who can take part

  • Your child is between 1 month and 18 years old.
  • Your child has been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) – a rare condition that causes muscle weakness starting in the legs.
  • You, as a parent or guardian, agree to let your child take part and be followed for the study.
  • Your child does not have any other long-term muscle or nerve disease (other than GBS).
  • Your child does not have a condition called CIDP (a similar but long-lasting nerve problem).
