Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) using the Rome IV criteria.
  • You do not have other digestive diseases that could explain your symptoms.
  • You have not had surgery on your stomach or intestines (other than appendix removal).
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.
  • You are able to swallow a capsule (like a large pill) for the small intestine camera test.
