Testing a new antifungal for mold infections in immunocompromised people

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and have a weakened immune system (due to a stem cell or bone marrow transplant, blood cancer, recent low white blood cell count for more than 10 days, long-term steroid use, or an inherited immune disorder).
  • You have a suspected or proven mold infection, based on a lab test or a chest CT scan.
  • You have not received more than 4 days of antifungal treatment for this infection before the study starts.
  • You do not have severe liver, kidney, heart, or lung problems, and you are not on dialysis.
  • If you are a woman who can become pregnant, you must use highly effective birth control and have negative pregnancy tests; men must use a condom or be vasectomized.
  • You are willing to come for study visits and follow all study procedures.
