Healing spinal bone stress with MRI monitoring

Who can take part

  • You are between 12 and 30 years old
  • You have current low back pain
  • An imaging scan has shown a stress injury or crack in a small bone in your lower spine (called the pars interarticularis)
  • You have not had any past surgery on your lower back
  • You are not pregnant and are not claustrophobic (afraid of small spaces)
  • You can lie still for an MRI scan
