Who can take part

  • You or your child must be at least 4 years old.
  • You must have a confirmed genetic diagnosis of a CACNA1A disorder.
  • You need to have some trouble with balance or coordination, but be able to walk a short distance or do a pegboard test within a certain time.
  • You must weigh at least 33 pounds (15 kg).
  • You cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
  • You must agree to not use certain medications or take part in other clinical trials during the study.
