Who can take part
- You have had hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) for at least 6 months.
- You currently have HS lesions in at least 2 separate body areas (like both armpits or one armpit and one groin), with at least one area being Hurley stage II or III (moderate to severe).
- You have at least 5 painful bumps or abscesses (counted as abscesses and inflammatory nodules) at the start of the study.
- You have tried an oral antibiotic for HS but it didn't work, you got worse after stopping it, you couldn't tolerate it, or you cannot take oral antibiotics for medical reasons.
- You either have never used a biologic medicine for HS (biologic-naïve) or have used at least one dose of a biologic for HS in the past (biologic-experienced).
- You do not have any other active skin condition, serious infections, a weakened immune system, or a recent history of certain cancers or organ transplants.
