- You have a broken wrist (distal radius fracture) that does not need surgery and is being treated with a cast.
- You are between 18 and 50 years old.
- You are not a smoker.
- You do not have conditions like osteoporosis, other bone or muscle diseases, or any genetic syndromes.
- If you are a woman, you must still be having regular periods (not post-menopausal).
