This study tests a trauma-focused treatment for people who have both a psychotic disorder (like schizophrenia) and significant post-traumatic stress symptoms. If you are over 18, receive care from early intervention services, and have PTSD symptoms, this treatment may help you process traumatic experiences.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a diagnosis in the schizophrenia spectrum (such as schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder).
  • You have significant PTSD symptoms (a score above 31 on the PCL-5, a PTSD checklist).
  • You are currently enrolled in early intervention services (called OPUS in Denmark).
  • You speak and understand Danish.
  • You do not have severe alcohol or drug problems that interfere with therapy, and you have not changed your antipsychotic medication in the last month.
