Who can take part

  • You have isolated or generalized dystonia, not caused by another condition.
  • You are between 5 and 80 years old.
  • You want to have surgery to implant a deep brain stimulator in a brain area called the GPi.
  • You agree to use the Percept neurostimulator, which can record brain activity.
  • You or your legal guardian can understand and sign the consent form.
