GLP-1 medication stomach emptying study
Part of Digestive system clinical trials.
This study uses an ultrasound to look at how full your stomach is after taking GLP-1 medications for diabetes or weight loss. It will help doctors understand if current fasting guidelines are safe before surgery or a colonoscopy.

This study looks at whether pausing GLP-1 agonist medications (like Ozempic or Trulicity) for two weeks before an upper endoscopy can reduce the chance of food staying in the stomach during the procedure. It may help people who take these diabetes medicines and need a routine endoscopy.
This study looks at how GLP-1 medications affect the time it takes for your stomach to empty before anesthesia. It may help doctors decide if you need to take special precautions before your surgery.
This study uses an ultrasound to check how fast your stomach empties food. It looks at people with type 2 diabetes who have been taking a GLP-1 medication for at least three months.
This trial looks at how starting a GLP-1 medicine affects the amount of food left in your stomach and how quickly your stomach empties. It may help doctors better understand how these medicines work and how to use them safely.
This study looks at whether a common diabetes medication (GLP-1) affects how much food stays in your stomach before surgery. It aims to make anesthesia safer by understanding stomach content.
This trial studies how a longer fasting period affects stomach contents in people taking GLP-1 receptor agonists (a type of diabetes or weight-loss drug). It helps doctors understand if extra fasting time is needed before an upper endoscopy (a camera test for the stomach).
