Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (the most common type of lung cancer).
  • You are between 18 and 85 years old.
  • Your doctor says you are able to have surgery for your lung cancer.
  • You are in fairly good health overall (able to take care of yourself) and expected to live at least 6 months.
  • You do not have a history of other cancers or autoimmune diseases.
  • You do not have severe heart, lung, or blood vessel problems that make surgery risky.
