Who can take part

  • Your child was born full-term (37 to 41 weeks) with a birth weight below the 10th percentile for their gestational age and sex.
  • Your child is at least 3 years old and has not started puberty yet (no signs like breast development or testicle growth).
  • Your child's height is significantly below average (more than 2 standard deviations shorter than other kids their age and sex).
  • Bone age (from an X-ray of the hand) is not more than 1 year older than their actual age.
  • Your child has never taken growth hormone, IGF-1, or any ghrelin-like medicine before.
